Getting around and parking this weekend
The free QLINE streetcar runs 3.3 miles along Woodward Avenue between downtown and New Center, covering Orchestra Hall, the DIA, the Fox Theatre, and Little Caesars Arena. It operates 8 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, so plan a rideshare if a Sunday outing ends late.
Friday is the tightest night for parking near the Fox and the arena, with a hockey game and a theater show both starting at 7 p.m. Arrive early or reserve a garage spot ahead of time. No major race-related road closures are scheduled this weekend; the Detroit Free Press Marathon is next Sunday, Oct. 18.
