Did the Lions win? Latest Detroit Lions score

No. The Lions lost 32-26 to the Carolina Panthers on “Sunday Night Football” on Oct. 4, dropping Detroit to 2-2. It was the second time this season the Lions scored at least 26 points and still lost, after a 41-31 defeat at Buffalo in Week 2.

The pattern through four weeks is simple: Detroit’s offense is putting up points every week (no fewer than 26 in any game), but the defense has allowed 30 or more three times. That is why the record sits at .500 despite the scoring.

Week Date Opponent Result Record
1 Sun., Sept. 13 vs. New Orleans W 31-30 (OT) 1-0
2 Thu., Sept. 17 at Buffalo L 41-31 1-1
3 Sun., Sept. 27 vs. N.Y. Jets W 31-24 2-1
4 Sun., Oct. 4 at Carolina L 32-26 2-2

Red Wings score: Kraken beat Detroit 6-3

The Red Wings lost 6-3 to the Seattle Kraken on Friday, Oct. 9, at Little Caesars Arena. Viktor Arvidsson scored on the power play, and William Wallinder and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard added goals, but Seattle got two from Frederick Gaudreau and pulled away in the second period. Detroit is 1-3-0.

The Red Wings opened the 2026-27 season with four straight home games and won only one of them, a 5-3 win over Ottawa in which captain Dylan Larkin scored in his season debut.

Date Opponent Result Record
Fri., Oct. 2 vs. N.Y. Rangers L 2-0 0-1-0
Sun., Oct. 4 vs. Winnipeg L 3-2 0-2-0

Next Red Wings games: Saturday, Oct. 10, at Montreal (7 p.m. ET), the team’s first road game, then back home Tuesday, Oct. 13, against New Jersey (6 p.m. ET). This is the NHL’s first 84-game regular season, so there is plenty of runway to recover from a slow start. Game times can change; the official Red Wings schedule on NHL.com has the latest.

Pistons score: preseason win over Phoenix

The Pistons beat the Phoenix Suns 109-107 on Monday, Oct. 5, in their preseason opener, rallying from a sluggish first half. Preseason results do not count in the standings, but they are the only Pistons games so far.

Detroit’s remaining preseason schedule (all times ET):

  • Saturday, Oct. 10: at Washington, 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 14: at Minnesota, 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 16: vs. Toronto, 7 p.m.

Regular-season opener: Tuesday, Oct. 20, vs. the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena, with the game on NBC. Check the Pistons schedule on NBA.com for the confirmed tip-off time before game day.

Tigers: how the 2026 season ended

The Tigers finished 76-86 and missed the postseason. Their last game was a 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates at Comerica Park on Sunday, Sept. 27. Kevin McGonigle and Eduardo Valencia homered in the seventh inning, but Pittsburgh had built its lead early.

There will be no new Tigers scores until spring training. If you are searching “what’s the score of the Detroit Tigers game” this fall, that 4-2 final against Pittsburgh is the most recent one.
