Looking for where to watch 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons next week? Here is the short answer: The Pistons host the Philadelphia 76ers at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. ET, and the game is on ESPN, with a live stream in the ESPN app. It is a national-only broadcast, so it will not air on The Spot – Detroit 20 or stream on DAZN, where most Pistons games air this season.
It is also a quick rematch. Detroit won 106-93 in Philadelphia on Oct. 25, handing the 76ers their first loss. Below you’ll find the channel, the streaming options, the radio call, what has changed since that first meeting and what to know if you are going to the arena.

What channel is the Pistons vs. 76ers game on?
The game is on ESPN. In metro Detroit, you will find it wherever your cable, satellite or live TV streaming provider places ESPN. Unlike NBC games, it is not on a local broadcast station, so an antenna alone will not pick it up.
Why isn’t it on Channel 20? The Pistons have 19 national TV games this season. A handful of them are also shown on The Spot – Detroit 20, but Nov. 4 is not one of them: the station’s 71-game broadcast schedule published by WXYZ lists this game as ESPN only. Our Detroit Pistons schedule and TV guide shows which games fall into each group.
Pistons-76ers opens ESPN’s Wednesday doubleheader that night. Dallas at San Antonio follows at 9:30 p.m. ET.
How to live stream Pistons vs. 76ers
The ESPN app is the main streaming option. ESPN has said all of its NBA programming, including every game on its 2026-27 regular-season schedule, is available in the app. You will need an ESPN subscription or a sign-in from a TV provider that includes ESPN; check ESPN’s site for current plans and prices.
Live TV streaming services that carry ESPN will also show the game. DAZN, the Pistons’ streaming partner this season, does not have it, because DAZN carries the locally televised games that air on Channel 20.
How to watch on Wednesday night, step by step
- On TV: tune to ESPN through your cable, satellite or live TV streaming provider a few minutes before 7 p.m. ET.
- On a phone or smart TV: open the ESPN app, sign in with your ESPN subscription or TV provider, and look for the game in the NBA section.
- In the car: switch on 97.1 The Ticket for the radio call.
- Game-day check: national networks can adjust start times, so confirm on the official Pistons or NBA schedule on Wednesday.
Can I listen to the Pistons-76ers game on the radio?
Yes. Audacy’s 97.1 The Ticket is the Pistons’ radio home this season. The radio broadcast is local, so it is not affected by the national TV deal.
Pistons vs. 76ers preview: a rematch of Detroit’s win in Philadelphia
The first meeting went Detroit’s way. On Oct. 25, the Pistons built a 21-point first-half lead in Philadelphia and held on for a 106-93 win, The Associated Press reported. Cade Cunningham scored 26 points, and John Collins had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 29, and LeBron James added 18. The loss was Philadelphia’s first after a 3-0 start.
The Sixers could look different on Wednesday. Joel Embiid sat out the first game to rest the night after a triple-double against Milwaukee, so Detroit has not yet faced Philadelphia at full strength. The 76ers’ new-look roster, with James and Jaylen Brown joining Maxey and Embiid, has already shown what it can do: on Oct. 22 it rallied from 29 points down to beat Cleveland 114-106, a game in which those four combined for 94 points, according to NBA.com.
As of Oct. 30, Detroit is 4-1 heading into Friday’s game at Brooklyn. Its only loss came at New York on Oct. 27, and it bounced back the next night with a 97-89 win over Charlotte behind a season-high 30 points from Cunningham, as covered in our Pistons vs. Hornets recap. The big question is the frontcourt. All-Star center Jalen Duren is out with a right hamstring strain he suffered Oct. 23 at Miami, and ESPN’s injury report lists his expected return around Nov. 9. Guard Isaiah Joe has been out with a hip injury. Check the team’s injury report on game day.

- Wed., Nov. 4: vs. Philadelphia, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN
After Wednesday, the teams meet again Feb. 5 in Philadelphia, at 7 p.m. ET on Prime Video. For how national-only games have worked so far this season, see our guide to where to watch Pistons at Knicks, another national-only broadcast.

The bottom line: ESPN, not Channel 20
